Imagine immediate relief from physical pain or emotional suffering

Pain is part of life. Suffering is a choice. Physical pain can be effectively eased by removing the fear of suffering.

Additional client benefits

Fear produces more than just pain. It fuels myriad self-destructive behaviors. Traumatic experiences often cause the victim to become stuck in fear, often long after the original event. The inability to get past fear by sheer strength of will creates an emotional impasse that can lead to abuse of alcohol, tobacco, chemicals, food and people, including the self.

When the emotional source of pain has been identified, and dealt with, not only does the intensity of physical pain decrease, but other things change as well. Bad habits evaporate. Relationships improve. Confidence soars. Choices and decisions are easier to make. It is a new life.

Who should attend

The primary audience for this workshop is Certified Hypnotherapists (or in progress). This is an Advanced training. Therefore, participants need at least a functional understanding of hypnosis and how the mind works. Medical or mental health professional working with patients in pain or emotional suffering will also find the techniques useful.

Pain relief vs elimination

"Would you be happy if we can reduce your pain by a mere 10%?" When someone is in intense, constant pain it doesn't take much change to produce a sense of relief.

Even a small change gives the client a sense of regaining control. They can then build on that self-control to mediate their pain experience.

Pain serves a purpose. It communicates important information. Therefore, it is unwise to eliminate pain totally.

Rather, clients benefit from developing mindfulness, paying attention to what pain is trying to tell them.

Pain is part of life. Suffering is a choice.

MASTER INSTRUCTOR: Kweethai Neill, PhD, CHT  (Dr. Kweethai)

Dr. Kweethai has extensive experience working with both chronic and acute pain. “Dialing down” pain is a good skill for beginners, but as a long-term strategy she finds it preferable to identify the sources of anxiety and fear that intensify (and can therefore attenuate) the physical experience of pain. Likewise with trauma, iChange Therapy™ puts the client’s subconscious in control of identifying significant events, then revising or reframing emotional energies associated with them.

Dr. Kweethai works with the whole client, not just symptoms. She also advocates that the successful hypnotherapist must ‘deal with what emerges’. So, her clients experience hypnosis, open-eye trance, energy dowsing and communication skills training for immediate change; and a combination of health education, Feng Shui and Qigong to support a new life path.

The goal is to elicit health and happiness from within the client, implementing changes toward a better state of well-being and success. When spirit is addressed first in the mind-body-spirit paradigm, the rest follow.

Dr. Kweethai left a university post as Chair of Health Studies on a search that led to founding iHealth Center for Integrated Wellness, Inc. The transmutation from University to Universe-city meant integrating her training in western health education with her eastern heritage in energy work. The result is iChange Therapy™.

Dr. Kweethai frequently addresses the medical community as well as business and community audiences. She is an exceptional negotiator, communicator and coach. She is a regular contributor to the IMDHA journal Unlimited Human, and has published two books related to her work; Hypnotherapy, An Alternative Path to Health and Happiness and How to Build a $ix-Figure Hypnotherapy Practice.
